Who else thinks its a knee jerk reaction to close a 168 newspaper (another bit of Britain) ?

For,lets face it,only alleged offences? Another bit of our old islands gone! But it seems strange how all this has been whipped up within a week since the Milly Dowler trial. Did Murdoch intend to close it anyway? Surely they could have weeded out the people responsible for this phone hacking and let the other honest ones carry on. No-one has told us how you "hack" into someones phone? I thought you had to have their pword?I suppose for immigrants the NOW is just the name of a newspaper,but for native guys in their 60s like me it has been known to me since birth. The phase "you will be in the News of the world" has always been known to me. They were a news paper that investigated things,not just reported.They had to get their information from somewhere,perhaps sometimes a bit shadey? but the end jusfifies the means. Will you ask them not to close Britains newspaper,I will.
